WESTPORT IN BLOOM’S 17th ANNUAL TREE SALE
2023

The best time to plant a tree is 20 years ago.  The second-best time is now!

BROWSE THROUGH OUR ONLINE CATALOGUE BELOW

OUR FUNDRAISER: Westport in Bloom is a small all-volunteer, non-profit organization in Westport, Ontario, devoted to keeping our village beautiful.  Everything we do is funded by our annual tree sale, and every penny we earn goes into meeting that goal.

OUR TREES: This year we’re featuring almost forty varieties of top-quality shade trees, flowering trees and fruit trees, with particular emphasis on varieties that are native and/or attractive to pollinators.   You’ll find them marked BLOOMS CHOICE.

Most of our trees are 7 or 8 feet tall, and often significantly taller than indicated in our listings.  They’re grown in a prize-winning commercial nursery and delivered to Westport, where we pack the roots in bags with a small amount of moisture, just in time for your May pickup. As a result, they’re light to carry, easy to plant and quick to become established.  With every tree, you’ll receive planting instructions and a package of mycorrhizae (a totally organic plant starter proven to enhance root health and development).

TO ORDER: Email westportinbloom@gmail.com with a list of the trees you’d like.  You will receive a return email confirming their availability and the total cost (there’s no tax).  Please include your phone number and the name you want on your order.

NOTE: Nurseries across the country have been hard-hit over the past three years by COVID-related shortages of supplies and manpower, and trees are in short supply again this year. As a result, we recommend that you order as early as possible, since many varieties sell out within a few days, and we may not be able to restock.

TO PAY:  E-transfer: westportinbloom@gmail.com (NO PASSWORD required), or
Cheque: Westport in Bloom, PO Box 367, Westport ON  K0G1X0

PICK-UP:  Saturday, May 6, 2023, at Soho’s Greenhouse, 43 Bedford Street, in Westport. You will receive an email confirming pick-up instructions in mid-April.

SORRY, NO GUARANTEES OR REFUNDS. Trees well-watered and properly cared for will have an excellent survival rate – but unfortunately, we have no control over Mother Nature, no guarantee from our supplier (except their excellent reputation), and no profit margin, because we spend every penny we earn on keeping our village beautiful.

Thank you for your understanding, and…

THANK YOU for supporting Westport in Bloom!
